Pet Portraits

When I was called to do a pet portrait for this sweet little puppy Frijoles I was so excited. As you all know, I have three dogs of my own - two yorkies and a great dane. Doing a photo shoot with another dog owner was going to be a breeze. Wait, I must have forgotten how long it takes to get those perfect shots of my own little ones. lol

Even though Frijoles is a typically obedient dog it's very distracting when you are at Piedmont Park and every person that walks by has a dog! :) After a long two hours we were able to get some great shots. Of course Frijoles and his owner went home and crashed after all they had been through trying to get the perfect shot.

Frijoles mother scheduled the shoot because she thinks it's time he brings in some money. Her goal is to sell some pictures of her handsome little guy. Good luck, I hope he makes you some money!!! (I guess I need to get my three dogs a job to help out with all of their expenses too!) LOL

The Blue Ridge Parkway is more than a road - It's a Journey. A year ago my husband and I drove up to see the changing of the leaves. Before we drove up the mountain it was a warm and sunny day. When we almost hit the top of the mountain we were turned away due to a blizzard. It was amazing seeing the difference in the weather, once we got back down to the bottom it was spring time again.
