10AM
Today I did a mini-shoot with an aspiring plus size model. Mrs. Legend is such a great person to know, not only because she is a fabulous make up artist. I recently met her when she was doing a girlfriends make up. She took her time making sure that Tarika (my friend) felt comfortable with every step of the process. If you are looking for a make up artist this is your girl. (she's great at airbrushing make up also)
She is looking into being a plus size model so she called to see if I could do a mini shoot with her. We had fun and ruined her 100.00 pair of shoes in the process. One thing I will recommend after today is that you always bring flip flops on a shoot with Kyomi Kreations. You never know what i'll have you doing. ;o)

Such Sweethearts
Crowne Plaza Atlanta-Ravina
September 24, 2010
6:00PM
These cousins were so precious! As soon as the camera came out - hands went on hips and personalities came out. I simply fell in love with these babies by the end of our shoot. Not only are they cute but they are such sweet hearts! I can't wait to shoot their mommies (TWINS).

Topaz is a local make up artist who wanted some pictures done. Whenever on set, she is doing the make-up, so this was quite an experience for her! LOL This must have been the hottest day ever, but we managed to get some great shots.
You can view her website (www.fab2gomakeup.com) to learn more about what she does.

Welcome All Park
11:00AM -5:00PM
On Sunday, September 19th, we set up our Paparazzi Booth at the Berean African Safari Church Picnic. Everytime we looked back to see if the line had gone down, we realized it had only grown! The picnic was such a big hit and everyone loved the paparazzi booth. Thanks to the Mr. Curtis Hall for bringing us out for this wonderful event. To see more pictures from the African Safari Paparazzi Booth please view the following link.

The Boaz Factor By Elder Brenda Bradley
Piedmont Park
Sept. 6th, 2010
Today, I shot with the author of The Boaz Factor. The team over at Ellechor Publishing hired me to shoot their most recent author. View their website to learn more about them here - http://www.ellechorpublishing.com. We met at Piedmont park where she and her team must have walked 3 miles (in heels) trying to find me. I was in total shock when I walked into the park and saw trash laying everywhere! I'd never seen the park looking like this and was totally embarrassed because I'd scheduled this shoot in what had to be the dirtiest place in Atlanta at the moment.
Apparently it was a Gay Pride Celebration there last night and they must have had loads of fun!!! All sorts of flyers were laying around, and I continuously reminded the ladies not to read any of them because they would be shocked by what they saw! I LEARNED THE HARD WAY!!!! hahahah
Anyhow, we were able to get some great shots, despite all of the trash laying around. Oh, did I fail to mention theat one of the young ladies from Ellechor Publishing also came. Well, she is very pregnant and had on heels, remember I said they walked really far to find me? Long story short, I ended up letting her where my flip flops while I put on her white heels. Yeah, the photographer was walking around in heels, shorts, and a t-shirt. (HOW TACKY!!! But I'll do anything for an expecting mommy.)
Elder Brenda Bradley will be sending her book to print in March of 2011. I can't wait to see what picture she uses to showcase herself to the world. I'll be the first to get a copy when it hits stores! Elder Brenda Bradley is from Wichita, KS but I do believe Atlanta is calling her name.

The Living Photo Booth
Biltmore Ballrooms
Sept. 5, 2010
Youtube Video with pictures from this event : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQhvKi62WuQ
Ok, so I know this name "The Living Photo Booth" isn't going to work. I'll be coming up with a name for it soon. ;o) However, I had a blushing bride to contact me about doing a photo booth at her wedding. Carmen saw this idea and knew she had to have it on her special day.
When this sweet, intelligent, beautiful, and SUPER FUN bride told me the concept I simply fell in love with the idea!!! This is definitely something that we will be offering in the near future. Here's how it works...
1. Come up with a theme (Carmen had an island theme)
2. Get props for people to pose with (Carmen had sea shells, hat's, visors, sunglasses, etc.)
3. Get ready to have some fun (we will do all of the work)
You will have an actual photographer at your event to engage the guest and help to pose them. Each person(s) will take pictures with 4 different poses, and will leave with a 4x6 print with 4 wallet sized color photos on it. (You can personalize your party favor with your company logo, your name, or a favorite saying... BE CREATIVE IT'S ALL FOR FUN AND YOUR GUEST WILL BE TALKING ABOUT THIS FOREVER!!!
The Living Photo Booth can be set up at your next event - contact us for more details.

My name is Bonds - LA BONDS
September 3, 2010
Little Five Points
10:00AM
LA Bonds of http://www.labonds.blogspot.com/ and http://www.flavorgandd.com is a CRAZY, SEXY, COOL person as you can tell from our photo session today. This author and graphic artist came to the shoot full of excitement. In fact, she was so excited that she showed up 40 minutes early to the session.
When I drove up and saw LA and her make up artist I too got excited thinking of all the wonderful shots we could get. BUT, yes there is a "BUT". (LA, I told you I was going to write about it!!! LOL) But, Mrs. Bonds got out of the car and did not have on her make up, you can only imagine the confusion on my face! An hour and fifteen minutes later, this beauty was ready to make some magic. That's when I told her, I was about to leave and go get something to eat... hahaha, had to get her back. Anyhow, even though she was confused about not having her make up done before the session was supposed to start, we had a great time getting some wonderful shots.
Now, for my new clients who may be reading this - LA BONDS lucked up because I didn't leave. However, this will be something new that I add in my "deposit" information. So remember people, this is my business and time is money, so please be on time and be ready when Kyomi shows up with the camera... ;o)
Thanks for a wonderful shoot LA - you looked gorgeous and I love the variety of looks you came with. And to the wonderful MUA Tranace, thanks for all of your help during the shoot, I can't wait for our session. (Tranace is the one holding the reflector)
