Barry C. Black - 62nd Chaplain of the United States Senate

The Berean S.D.A church recently hosted an event called Innovative Impact on June 20-23. Pastors, ministry teams and key lay leaders converge in Atlanta for four full days for an event dedicated to helping leaders experience their deepest longings in serving the Lord in ministry. Barry C. Black was the key note speaker the very first night and of course I was their to capture the event.
Barry Black is the 62nd Chaplain of the United States Senate. He was elected to this position on June 27, 2003, becoming the first African-American, the first Seventh-day Adventist, and the first military chaplain to hold the office of chaplain to the United States Senate.

Kyomi Kreations Made the List...

Ms. Kim was turning 25 and was going to make sure that she enjoyed every minute of it. Her birthday started off with a party in Charlotte, then she drove down the road and had another party in Atlanta before she headed out to Vegas to spend the week celebrating there. Well of course this was a fabulous birthday for a fabulous young lady. But, she knew it just wouldn't be complete if she drove all the way to Atlanta from Charlotte and did not take advantage of a shoot with Kyomi Kreations.

The day before she headed out to Vegas we got together at the Piedmont Park and capture some pictures that she will be able to share with friends and family for her 25, 26, 27, 28, 28, 30 and well you get the point! LOL (This was her gift to herself, she wanted something that would last and that she could enjoy now and later). Consider having your birthday pictures done by Kyomi Kreations Photography. We'll make you feel like a model for the day!!! (make up artist and hair can be provided for an extra fee).

Too HOT for me...

While visiting some friends they decided to burn some leaves that they were raking up. Well, I thought it would be cool to bring my camera out and get some shots of it while it grows. First of all, it was already hot outside, the fire got big quickly and the heat coming from it was unbearable. That's why I only got a few pics... LOL

Another day at the dog park

When you have dogs you end up at the dog park a lot! Here are more pics of my babies that I shot with my new camera...

My first shoot with my new camera

After the robber broke into my home and stole all of my photography equipment, it was exactly 6.5 days before God blessed me with an upgrade to the camera I used to have. It's amazing how God works because I was super depressed thinking about how my business had come to an end. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I thought it was going to take forever to rebuild the business. However, God had another plan for me. In exactly 6.5 days, I was back to business as if nothing ever happened. (Thank you all for the prayers).

I had a shoot scheduled with a grandmother and her grandchildren. These twins are so funny! But after getting to know there mother, father, grandmother, and aunt, I see where they get it from! LOL Today, I learned about how Atlanta works, it may be raining in one area but it can be completely beautiful just 12 miles away (where I was going to shoot). Luckily we didn't have to cancel and I was abel to get back to my second love (after John of course). I'm still looking for great lenses so if you have any you want to sell *or give to me* ;o) please let me know.
