Two Souls, One Heart...

I had the pleasure of shooting engagement pictures for an old high school roommate from Forest Lake Academy today. She and her fiance have been together for 8 years and have a handsome son. I spent nearly the entire day with them (LONG STORY) and we had a great time taking these pictures. The are getting married at The Vine and that's where they also decided to go for their pictures. Tea with a Hattitude

Today I went to a "Tea with a Hattitude". This event was sponsored by A Special Boutique: there goal is to empower, equip and educate men, women and children in crisis by providing them with appropriate apparel, training and other essentials to re-enter the workplace with confidence and dignity. The women who attended this fundraising event were This fundraising event was especially done to help give some deserving people scholarship's for nursing school.

The room looked like a huge bouquet of flowers, there were so many different colors, shapes, and sizes. (The hat's that is!) A fashion show was put on, and they even crowned a Hattitude Queen. If you are ever looking to donate some clothing for a good cause - I'm sure that the women over at "A Special Boutique" would love to take those gently used items off of your hands. If your pregnant and you know it clap your hands...

CLAP! CLAP!! CLAP!!! Just kidding! However, this beautiful couple that I did a shoot with today is very much pregnant. ;o) They are the sweetest, cutest couple ever. I've been trying to build my business name here in Atlanta and things are starting to look up. I can't wait to get pictures of her when she gets here...

Just call it a threesome!

It was such a beautiful day and since I just learned about this park that's not too far from us, I figured I would take the dogs out for a good run. On my way out the door I grabbed my camera of course! But the craziest thing happened while we were out there. Three dogs came in with different owner and they all had only three legs. They were some of the most active dogs there. One dog was shot, one was attacked by another dog, and the third one had its leg crushed by something. I hope you enjoy the pics. I am so excited because my husband ran out with me the other night and brought photoshop CS4 for me. I am having so much fun learning all the different techniques that I will be able to offer to my clients now. Here are a few before and after pictures with a technique called diffused glow.
